KGAL again honored at the Scope Awards 2024: Best Asset Manager in the sector "INFRASTRUCTURE EQUITY - NEW ENERGY"

The rating agency Scope, together with its media partner Handelsblatt, has once again honored the best funds, investment companies and certificate providers.

The Scope analysts examined almost 12,000 funds and around 2,000 asset managers and certificate providers. At the ceremony on November 16, 2023 in Frankfurt am Main, winners in various categories were recognized for their good performance. Michael Kohl, our Head of Open Investment Funds, was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the entire team.

The Scope Awards look back on a long tradition and were presented for the 18th time. They are considered the most important award for funds and asset managers in German-speaking countries. We are proud to have won this year's Scope Award for best "Asset Manager Infrastructure Equity - New Energy". 

This was made possible by our fantastic 65-strong Sustainable Infrastructure team, together with colleagues from Legal, Structuring and Investment Funds. They all contributed to this success with the ESPF fund series, the first closing of the energy transition fund KGAL ESPF 6 and the launch of our public fund KGAL klimaSUBSTANZ.

These colleagues include economists, engineers, product developers, technicians, mathematicians, lawyers and investment specialists from all over the world.

We have long been convinced that our in-house expertise makes the difference - from the fund idea to the sale of assets. In a complex and fast-moving world, asset managers need in-house expertise to make the right decisions and develop innovative investment solutions. We are delighted that independent rating experts have confirmed this assessment.
