KGAL retail properties receive Awards of Excellence in Austria
Two retail properties managed by the KGAL Group were honoured with the “Award of Excellence” from the Shopping Center Performance Report Austria (SCPRÖ) 2026. In the annual tenant survey, “Shopping Haidäcker Park” in Eisenstadt took first place in the Retail Parks category. The “eo Center / eo Park” in Oberwart ranked second among Austrian shopping malls.
The “Award of Excellence” recognises Austria’s most economically successful retail locations from a tenant’s perspective. This year, “Shopping Haidäcker Park” achieved the highest rating of 1.5, placing it at the top of Austria’s retail parks for the second time since 2021. Among shopping malls, the “eo Center / eo Park” took second place with a score of 1.84.
“These awards are especially important to us because the evaluations come from companies that have first-hand experience of the economic development of these locations.,” says Alexander Pamer, Managing Director of KGAL Asset Management Österreich. “At the same time, these top rankings confirm our strategy: a tenant mix tailored to demand, reliable cooperation with tenants, and the continuous development of our properties are crucial to long-term success.”
KGAL Asset Management Österreich GmbH, headquartered in Vienna, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the KGAL Group. Since 2006, it has been developing, managing, and overseeing a real estate portfolio for institutional investors and retail investment vehicles, with a total value of approximately 1.4 billion euros. KGAL acquired the “Shopping Haidäcker Park” in 2013 as the first property for the institutional real estate fund Austrian Retail Park Portfolio (ARPP). The “eo Center” has been part of the portfolio since 2014 and was expanded in 2022 with the opening of the “eo Park.”
